It's time we didn't blame others for our shortcomings. If a people is intelligent, prudent and modern enough, and if they are not raised in a shithole, then they should be disgusted by the stench. Our traditions have golden sides, which we need to promote, and they have shitty sides, which we have to expose and try not to conceal. Frankly, if someone blamed the US, the UK or the Arabs for our troubles, I'd say they're refusing to look at themselves in a mirror. Taking responsibility is the first step for adulthood and maturity. So long as a nation blames others for the shit-show they're running in their own countries, it means they have been shitting their own pants, but have lost their sense of smell. It means they’re juvenile and immature, their brains have stopped growing, or as Freud puts it, they’re fixated at their Anal stage!
